Waynetown, Indiana -- Eston L. Swindler, 79 of Waynetown Rt 1, died at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 1975 at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Freedom Christian Church in Wallace. Mr. Swindler was born October 25, 1895, near Wallace, the son of James Thomas and Charlotta Jane Krout Swindler. He married Rosie Myers February 28, 1927 (at Crawfordsville from CJR obit). She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Irma Keller of Crawfordsville; two brothers, William J. Swindler of Waynetown and James Swindler of Hillsboro; and two grandchildren (Marsha & Terry Keller - via CJR). He was preceded in death by a sister (Lizzie Simmons). Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown. The Rev. Bertha Knox will officiate. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home
